This project involves partial restructuring, renovation, and energy upgrading of a 90 sqm apartment located on the first floor of a residential building in Kallithea. The building was constructed in 1978 and the existing layout included a separate kitchen closed off from the living room, as commonly found in apartments of this period.

The vision of our clients was to experience the joy of open living as the living room seamlessly merges with the kitchen, creating a welcoming and airy ambiance. By skillfully removing selected walls, we’ve created a connected space that allows for easy interaction and entertaining.

The heart of the home, our thoughtfully designed kitchen, showcases a central L-shaped countertop with a raised wooden counter, providing ample room for culinary adventures and social gatherings. With clever storage solutions and top-quality appliances discreetly integrated, this kitchen is as practical as it is visually appealing.

Attention to detail is evident throughout, including a custom-built corner cabinet that serves as both storage and a comfortable seating area. Completing the versatility of the space, a foldable table effortlessly expands or tucks away, adapting to the client’s needs.

Not only has this apartment undergone a remarkable transformation, but it also boasts energy-saving upgrades that contribute to a greener lifestyle. With enhanced insulation, energy-efficient windows, solar water heating, a natural gas boiler, external wall insulation and intelligent automation, the residents will enjoy significant cost savings while reducing their environmental footprint.
